Christoph Ulrich was born in Zug, Switzerland and grew up in the Swiss Mountains.

At the young age of 2, he started Skiing like every other Kid did in this region. When he turned 7 years of age, he began Ski-Racing and made it to the regional selection for Downhill and Super G. It was clear that his love of Speed was always there.

He then started to do Motocross at the age of 14 and was competing in his first races at the age of 15, which for international levels is too late.

Switzerland isn’t really famous for Motorsport and track availability is very limited, especially from 30 years ago.

When Christoph was 16, he had stopped Ski-Racing and focused on Motocross to compete in the European Championship`s but sadly had to stop at the age of 24 due to lack of funding.

He then turned to his business career and attended many Motorsport events just as a (huge) fan.

Sport cars where always a big passion but Christoph didn’t come from a wealthy family, so he never imagined it was possible to do car racing on a big level.

However, Christoph’s business career went very well and even though it took a while at the age of 43, Christoph bought his first race car from AF Corse, did two tests and asked Amato Ferrari – the Team Owner how he could join and race. This was when the relationship was born to AF Corse and had first formed.

Christoph`s dream was to just once in his life participate in a GT Race, as he was a huge fan of the 24h of Spa, Le Mans, Sebring etc. GT Racing has always fascinated him even more than Formula 1.

What then happened was never planned nor could it have been imagined.

2017 was his first full season in Car Racing and he became Vize Champion of the Blancpain GT Sports club with Ferrari 458 GT3. In 2018 he moved to the Le Mans Cup, he won the 2018 Route to Le Mans and became Vize Champion again in this Championship. 2019 was another successful year with multiple podiums including P3 in the prestigious Gulf 12h so the crazy idea for 2020 was born.

Together with 2 other Amateur Drivers the 3 aimed for the 24h of Le Mans and a full season of the European Le Mans Series. As a pure amateur Bronze Line Up, Podiums were out of any possibility, but Christoph was always one of the fastest Bronze Drivers the whole year.

For 2021 Christoph is looking for a new Challenge either in ELMS, GTWC or WEC! Let’s stay tuned for what there is to come.
